Old shapes.New tricks.
Modern multiscale guitars, with the silhouettes you love.
Somewhere along the way, guitar tech got weird, in a good way. Composite necks, fanned frets, active pickups, ergonomic carves…
The engineering is incredible.
The looks? Well… sometimes they resemble alien art.
Do you want modern features but still want to feel like you’re in a band, not a spaceship, when you plug in?
Multiscale for the way you play.
Multiscale design, a modern playing surface and a reinforced neck work together to make each guitar comfortable, clear and ready for different tunings.
Clear lows, comfortable bends
A longer scale on the bass side brings tension and clarity to the low strings and complex harmonic shapes, while a shorter treble scale keeps bends and extended chord stretches comfortable.
Modern spec, classic voice
A 12-inch fretboard radius feels comfortable under the hand, while active electronics offer a choice of voices to suit your playing.
Stable neck, flexible tunings
Carbon reinforcement keep the neck stable. Combined with locking tuners and TUSQ nut to support your exploration of alternate and drop tunings, and the variation in string tensions that come with them.
Flare
Flare is a compact, contoured double-cut for articulate clean playing, along with a bit of chug. Its reinforced neck helps keep alternate tunings stable, while the scale geometry makes wide stretches and extended chords comfortable. The longer bass side keeps low strings firm and close, harmonically dense intervals clear; the shorter treble side makes tapping, hammer-ons, pull-offs, and bends feel easy and expressive.
Maple / Pau Ferro
On the horizon.
The Flare is currently under development, with a prototype being built by our luthier. It is the first of four models in the Anachron lineup.
Ember
Ember is a reverse-offset guitar for the modern riff & rhythm player: one foot on the wedge, playing tight, gated rhythms and dissonant riffs across the octaves. Its longer bass-side scale keeps Drop D and Drop C tight and articulate, without sacrificing upper register access. A chambered body keeps the look, while managing weight and balance.

Drift
Drift is a long-scale offset for baritone and octave-down tunings. It’s built to keep low notes clear and chords defined, whether they’re chiming through a spacious ’verb, or pushing through a wall of fuzz.

Arc
Arc is a chambered, contoured single-cut for jazz, chord-melody and expressive clean playing. It’s built for wide voicings and fluid movement across the neck, with warmth that responds to your touch. Walking bass lines stay taut beneath chords and melodies, while close intervals and low chord tones remain clear.
Mahogany / Ebony
graxie is an Australian entrepreneur, award-winning designer, and indie-rock lifer who yearned for guitars she couldn’t find anywhere. One of her mottos is “create the things you wish existed.” Anachron is the result.
